🌟 Exciting News from ISPOR Europe 2023! 🌟"A step closer to cost-effective or, at least, cost-saving palliative care digital health interventions"Thrilled to announce that MyPal's poster on "A Cost-Utility Analysis of the #MyPal #eHealth Application, an #ePro Intervention Aiming to Foster Palliative Care of Cancer Patients: Results From a Randomized Clinical Trial in 4 European Countries" has been successfully presented at the #ISPOREurope 2023 conference! 🎉Panagiota Naoum from the National School of Public Health, of the Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής - University of West Attica, Greece, presented groundbreaking results from MyPal project randomized clinical trial across 4 European countries (Greece, Czech Republic, Italy, and Sweden), assessing the cost-effectiveness of the MyPal eHealth application in fostering palliative care for cancer patients.See the Poster here 👉 www.ispor.org/heor-resources/presentations-database/presentation/euro2023-3784/133493MyPal demonstrated potential cost-effectiveness, with higher upfront costs attributed to healthcare professional time. The Incremental Cost-Utility Ratio (ICUR) was calculated at 57,522.09 PPPs/QALY, indicating MyPal's potential to be both more effective and costlier than usual care in 82.4% of cases.This work is a significant stride towards advancing palliative care in Europe through innovative #ePRO interventions.
